Join us for the Easter Egg Hunt!

All neighborhood children (and grandchildren) are invited to the Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Our generous neighbors, the Leclercs and Steins, have offered their lawns again for the hunt! We will divide up participants by age groups (ages 5 and below, and ages 6 and above). Each lawn will be specifically designated for each age group to ensure happy hunting for all. Please have children bring their own baskets. We look forward to seeing you! -Tokeneke Association Social Committee
RTM District 2 Caucus- Thursday, June 23, 7:00PM, Town Hall Auditorium
Our neighborhood sits in Darien’s District 2. On occasion, our RTM members hold a caucus for any and all residents that would like to ask questions or voice concerns about the goings on in our District and our Town. It is worth noting that one of the biggest purchases in the history of Darien is on the docket this month, the purchase of Great Island, which sits in our district. Other issues which are currently active include development, security, town budget and flooding. You are invited to attend this informal meeting to ask questions, voice concerns and listen to what is on the minds of your fellow District 2 members.
If you have any questions in the interim, please feel free to reach out to the following District 2 members: Clara Sartori, District 2 Chair csartori@darienct.gov; Mike Wheeler, District 2 Rules Committee mwheeler@darienct.gov or Michael Casolo, District 2 Rules Committee mcasolo@darienct.gov
Meet a New Neighbor
The Greenspons:
After spending 10 years in California, the Greenspons moved back to the east coast and bought our home in Darien in May of 2020. While moving cross country in the middle of a pandemic wasn’t exactly ideal they are thrilled to be here raising our children and being close to both of our families again! Rachel and Colin have three boys — Charlie (9), Cooper (6.5) and Hunter (2.5). Charlie and Cooper have loved their first year at Tokeneke School and Hunter is nipping at their heals to ride the bus with them! Colin grew up in Darien (DHS class of ‘96) and his childhood home is just five doors down on Old Farm Road where his parents still live. Their kids love having their grandparents so close and being able to see them whenever they want not to mention having all their cousins within 20 minutes of them!
Rachel, Colin and the boys especially excited to be in the Tokeneke community which even amidst a pandemic has been so welcoming. They are looking forward to many, many wonderful years and even more memories here in this wonderful community!
